Mezcal: the magic of the art.

In 10 workshops Pepe Carballido will drive us through the heart of the maguey (agave) and through the molecule of the mezcal. He will explain the origin, history and biodiversity of the maguey plant and the different ways to elaborate a handmade mezcal. He will show the art of Masters Mezcaliers and how to identify the endless elements that form part of the infinite algorithms of flavours and aromas of the mezcal.

Once you finish this workshop, you will have learnt about the maguey and the mezcal and you will have understood the importance that this wonderful plant has for the Mexican farmers. The mezcal is the identity element of a land like its own culture, art and customs.
